Craig Turner was murdered while risking his life to save another. Theo, his son, blames himself for his father’s death.

 

A gifted singer, poet, and spoken word artist, Theo was late picking up his dad because he was performing several encores at the Poet Café. This traumatic event leads him to make a promise to himself: he will never perform spoken word again.

 

Four years after his father's death, Theo secures a job in the mailroom of a top firm, Real Images Corporation. At first glance, his coworkers seem to be a diverse group of people, each hiding behind false identities and dealing with personal problems.

 

He becomes upset when he witnesses the poor treatment of some of the employees, especially the firm's CEO's personal assistant, Charlotte Williams.
